Although Kim Kardashian couldn’t make it as part of Blue Origin‘s first-ever all-female crew’s recent space mission, she had only good things to say about it. The reality mogul shared her appreciation for the women on Instagram, congratulating the “brave” ladies for making a successful return from their 11-minute space trip. She welcomed the crew home while sharing an official picture of the team. Meanwhile, Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner, and sister, Khloe Kardashian, were in West Texas to support the crew on their journey.

Kim Kardashian praises successful Blue Origin space trip: ‘Welcome home’

Kim Kardashian was proud and inspired by Blue Origin’s recent space mission featuring an all-female crew. After a short and successful 11-minute trip to space, the SKIMS founder welcomed them back with a sweet tribute on Instagram. She took to her Instagram Stories to congratulate the ladies, including Lauren Sanchez, Katy Perry, Gayle King, Amanda Nguyen, Aisha Bowe, and Kerianne Flynn.

Alongside the official crew photo, Kim Kardashian wrote on her Instagram Story, “The first all-female space crew has successfully returned from an 11-minute space mission. Congratulations, ladies! You are all incredibly brave, welcome home.” In another story, she captured her family, Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian, giving an interview at the launch take-off location in West Texas.

The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch and her daughter, Khloe Kardashian, were present to support their friend Lauren Sanchez and the crew members. In an interview with Blue Origin, Kris Jenner revealed that Kim Kardashian missed out on joining them as she was preparing for an upcoming law school test. The matriarch further noted that her daughter had “FOMO” and wanted to know all the details by the minute over the phone.

Kim Kardashian almost went to space along with the rest of the crew. Both Kim and her mother were reportedly offered the opportunity to go on the Blue Origin mission, but they ultimately opted out of it. The insider revealed that the matriarch cited safety concerns now that she’s a mom and a grandmother. Meanwhile, Kim was open to the idea but couldn’t join because of “scheduling conflicts.”

The Blue Origin space mission lasted 11 minutes, traveling more than 60 miles above Earth.
