Ciara Miller and Paige DeSorbo will always have each other’s backs. The Summer House stars have been in the thick of it for years, and their friendship is just as sure as the cast having a themed party during their weekends in the Hamptons.
Most recently, Ciara has been giving Paige support as her former relationship with Craig Conover seemingly started imploding while filming Season 9. There is a lot more clarity on why the duo broke up based on what was captured on camera last summer.
Ciara Miller doesn’t think Craig Conover was supporting Paige DeSorbo
During Season 9, Episode 7, Paige was visibly stressed by the Southern Charm star and his reaction to her upcoming Giggly Squad tour. Craig was concerned about keeping their relationship “a priority.” And the fashion contributor felt unsupported in her career advancement.
The exact words Paige used to describe Craig were “secret hater.” When she posed the question of whether her ex-boyfriend was one to Ciara, the model confirmed the feeling by repeating “hater” three times.
“That is a f*cking hater ass boyfriend,” Ciara said of Craig during a confessional interview. “Paige shouldn’t have to pay for your lack of self-confidence and your lack of self-esteem.”
Ciara continued, “Honestly, this is all him. And I’ve had this conversation multiple times with Paige. Somehow, someway, it does end up becoming the Craig show.”
The two Summer House stars were chatting together about how “draining” the day was for Paige. The fashion contributor previously had a serious conversation with Craig about how to navigate their relationship while she was on tour.
Paige was concerned by Craig’s reaction to her success
The Sewing Down South founder argued that he traveled “90 percent of the time” to visit Paige in New York from Charleston. Craig wanted assurance that he was “still a priority.”
“Basically like, ‘What about me?’ Like, ‘Woe is me,'” Ciara asked.
The concerning issue for Paige was feeling like her “shining” resulted in Craig getting “his feelings hurt.” The Summer House star then revealed what happened off-camera after she and Craig went on a dinner date in New York.
“When we got home, he was like, ‘Well, obviously on camera I’m not gonna say that you’re way busier than me and that your sh*t is bigger … That would be negative.’ I go, ‘For you.’ I go, ‘Why couldn’t you have said that?’ Like, that is what’s happening. That validates my sh*t,” Paige shared.
In a moment of clarity, Paige then asked Ciara if she was “dating a secret hater.” Her bestie then confirmed Paige’s question.
