Below Deck Down Under star Jason Chambers, also known as Captain Jason, is one of Bravo’s most eligible bachelors. He joined the network in 2022 and quickly became a fan favorite and many viewers’ TV boyfriend. It’s no mystery why viewers are swooning for the Bravo star. Not only is he dreamy, but he’s also devoted to his work and puts his daughter above all else.

Captain Jason’s romantic life continues to fascinate fans. He’s pretty low-key about his personal life, but he recently shared an update about his dating status. Here’s what we know.

Where does Captain Jason stand in his dating life in April 2025?

Below Deck viewers suspected Captain Jason may be off the market after a fan thought they spotted an engagement ring on his finger in a promo for Season 3 of Below Deck Down Under. But it was a false alarm.

Captain Jason set the record straight in a February 2025 interview with The Daily Dish, telling the outlet he is currently single. However, his DMs may not be open quite yet, sorry ladies. In the interview, he shared that dating isn’t his number one priority at the moment.

“I don’t think the time has ever been right. I needed to give a lot of time to my daughter over the last few years,” he said.

He shared that he wants to make sure he is going into dating with the right intentions, telling The Daily Dish he needs to be in the right headspace.

“The relationships I have had have been long, and they probably shouldn’t have lasted that long,” he said. “I’m starting to realize why I’ve gone into those relationships. I’m probably trying to create something but not be 100 percent myself. So, I have put a pause on dating for quite some time because I haven’t had the time to bring someone else into my daughter’s [life].”

Ok, a man who self-reflects and puts his family first? Yeah, my guess is those comments aren’t going to curb the slew of DMs I’m sure he’s getting.

Captain Jason has his eye on a few Bravolebs

Captain Jason told The Daily Dish that he will start dating again when his life is more stable.

“I think 2025 is the time to get some stability, find out where I’m going to be based, get my career going, and then it’s right to bring someone else in,” he said. “So yeah, 2025 will be the year that I will get these other things done and then, hopefully, I can meet someone and I’m ready.”

The Below Deck Down Under star has expressed interest in a couple of Bravolebs in the past. He gave Vanderpump Rules cast member Lala Kent a shoutout at BravoCon in 2023, telling fans she is the Bravo star he would want as a primary guest on his yacht. The comment caused quite a stir among fans, and romance rumors began to spread. However, Lala shot down the rumors in a December 2023 Amazon Live, telling viewers she is not interested in dating the Captain.

“I think he’s very very handsome, as many people do,” she said, The Daily Dish reported. “He’s quite a bit older than me. He lives somewhere very very far from me. And timing is everything with a relationship, and I’m just not quite there. I know I’m a weirdo.”

More recently, Captain Jason expressed interest in a few other Bravolebs during an interview with Parade. The interviewer presented him with a number of names from the network, and he shared whether he would date them or not. Brynn Whitfield, Heather Gay, and Ciara Miller were among the names he expressed interest in.

Could Captain Jason swap Below Deck Down Under for a Bravo dating show?

Captain Jason is so popular with the ladies that I would not be surprised if he were offered the leading role in a dating show. Perhaps he could take on a leading role in Bravo’s Love Hotel or even make the jump to ABC and become the next Bachelor. I believe fans would tune in to see Jason navigate the messy waters of a reality dating show. He’s the perfect candidate for it.

Below Deck Down Under is available to stream on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.

When it comes to Heather Gay, fans have dubbed her one of the most relatable women on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. The divorced mother of three never tried to paint a pretty picture of her situation. And often addressed the shame of leaving the Mormon church behind. But she has moved forward and carved out a nice lifestyle for herself. So when she brings up a topic about age and discrimination, fans listen.

RHOSLC the hit Bravo needed

Heather made sure to solidify her place in Bravo history after she said her famous line “Receipts! Proof! Timelines! Screenshots!” in Bermuda. But what makes Heather so great is her comradery and respect for the other women in the series. She told The Daily Beast, “We have real history, but we also consistently show up and leave it all on the field.” The Bad Mormon author added, “As much as we fight and are at each other’s throats, we’re also consistently predicting each other’s behavior, which is kind of what friendship is about: radical acceptance of our closest friends’ flaws, and the ability to navigate it together.”

The network has allowed each cast member to bring their own unique life experiences to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. The show is a literal melting pot and has been able to showcase multiple religions and ways of thinking, all in a way that speaks to viewers. As fans have learned, Mormonism teaches a need for perfection. Each woman, including Heather, had their own way of dealing with a lesson that had been drilled into their psyche. But Bravo has allowed the ladies to grow with little to no restraint. And that is unheard of for a reality TV show.

Heather Gay is mentioning it all

Heather shared, “We kind of pulled the curtain back on this environment we live in, and people have found it interesting – and traumatizing. There’s a lot of camp just innate in our culture.” Perhaps what makes the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City such a game-changing series for Bravo is that there is no single star on the show. The chemistry that is between the women is undeniable and it just works. Each snowflake is stubborn and not afraid to stand up for their personal beliefs. The reason behind the clashing is merely because they all see a situation in a different light. And that is okay. The premise is that people from all walks of life can get along.

“Who wants a Housewife curated for Twitter? That’s not reality television,” Heather said. “Housewives is built on women being willing to expose their weaknesses and flaws to the world, and it’s a much harsher environment now. On Salt Lake, a lot of the women don’t play to the audience, and that’s what keeps the story moving.”

Women have a place on Bravo

With the current climate in the United States surrounding women’s rights, it can feel, for many, like a dystopia. Many Real Housewives viewers are questioning where they might belong. But Bravo is making sure that women know no matter what you look like, your beliefs, your age, your opinions, that you belong right here. When it comes to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Heather shared, “I don’t think it’s for everybody, but it’s definitely for me and my people.” In Heather’s opinion, “This is the only forum that gives women over 40 center stage and a platform and a voice, and financial independence and fame. Even Hollywood ages ’em out. If you think of the livelihood that it creates for women in my decade, it’s phenomenal as a source of societal change and eradicating misogyny.”

Undoubtedly, Heather and the rest of the Real Housewives crew are trailblazers. Bravo originally started as a fine arts and film channel. By the early 2000s, they were focusing on series aimed at women and the LGBTQIA2S+ community. The network has constantly given a voice to the underdog, for which talent and viewers are thankful. “Where’s the highest density of women’s stories anywhere on the planet other than in Andy Cohen’s back pocket?” Heather added. Gone are the days when June Cleaver represented the idea of women. And here are the days of Heather, Dorinda Medley, and Porsha Williams– all aging icons in their own right.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is available to stream on Peacock.

I must admit that I questioned whether it would be possible for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City to top Season 4. Heather Gay delivered that epic monologue and outed Monica Garcia as being involved in the social media site, Reality Von Tease. It was reality TV perfection.

However, Season 5 reached the same high standard. Somehow, all the housewives had a hand in stirring the pot. Every event was a spectacle, serving up drama, and arguments, along with a dash of humor.

The drama shifted into high gear from the jump at Lisa Barlow’s Besos Galentine’s party, which turned into a pile-on against Whitney Rose. Plus, we met a new housewife, Lisa’s fashion-focused friend Bronwyn Newport. Bronwyn fit in perfectly with the rest of the Salt Lake City cast.

Of course, the Reality Tea team embraces all of our heroes, villains, and all the flavors in between. So, let’s take a look at the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 winners and losers.

Lisa Barlow – Winner

Lisa Barlow RHOSLC

What can we say about Baby Gorgeous? At her Besos party, Lisa was offended that Whitney called Lisa “a villain” during a podcast interview. And all hell broke loose.

Unfortunately for Bronwyn, she butted heads repeatedly with Lisa. Bronwyn was offended when she was put in a separate villa from Lisa during the trip to Puerto Villarta. And Lisa was furious that Bronwyn purchased her a ticket in coach with the other couples after the Palm Springs trip. Lisa does not fly coach.

During the reunion, Lisa blindsided Bronwyn and shared that she had text messages from her friend who worked with Bronwyn’s jeweler. While Bronwyn originally claimed that her husband, Todd Bradley, bought her a diamond necklace worth $4 million, she stated at the reunion that she purchased hoop earrings and a smaller necklace instead. According to Lisa’s source, Bronwyn never bought anything.

During the Season 5 finale, Lisa had a blow-out fight with Angie Katsanevas. When Whitney shared a rumor that she heard about Lisa and her husband, John Barlow, having a threesome, Lisa was furious. When Angie didn’t defend her, Lisa mentioned that she heard that Angie’s husband, Shawn Trujillo, participated in “circle jerks.” While Lisa would never admit it, her friendship with Angie was already rocky because of Angie’s friendship with Whitney. I think that Lisa has entered her villain era, and I love it!

Whitney Rose – Loser

Whitney Rose RHOSLC

I love Whitney, but this season she seemed off her game. She mostly sparred with Lisa about rumors that Baby Gorgeous allegedly spread about PRISM, Whitney’s jewelry line. There were whispers that Whitney was obtaining her jewelry designs from Alibaba. According to Whitney, she had a source – a podcaster who allegedly confirmed that Lisa was leaking the details.

Of course, Whitney felt that Lisa did this to hurt her brand and reputation. So, when Whitney accused Lisa of giving the rumor to a gossip blogger, Lisa called Whitney “a liar.” This argument caused Lisa’s hubby John, and Whitney’s husband, Justin Rose, to become involved in the altercation. It was ugly.

Plus, Lisa left a necklace that Whitney gifted her in her hotel room in Milwaukee, further proving to Whitney what Lisa thought of her brand. However, when Whitney revealed that she asked Monica for information, the rest of the cast lost their minds. While Whitney admitted that she only turned to Monica because she was forced into a corner by Lisa and Meredith Marks, it was still a low point for Whitney.

Mary Cosby – Winner

Mary Cosby RHOSLC

Mary Cosby finally exited the Sprinter van and took part in the season! Mary zip-lined, ate at restaurants with the group, and even hosted a Breakfast at Tiffany’s party at her home. We may never forget Meredith’s Audrey Hepburn-esque bangs. During the reunion, Mary quipped that Meredith’s bangs were “a little bit of a type of suffering.”

However, what moved viewers was Mary’s honest on-camera conversation with her son, Robert Cosby, Jr. He admitted that he was using drugs and that he needed help. Mary was strong yet emotional as she spoke with him. She told him that she didn’t judge him and that he was the most important part of her life. It was such a raw, yet beautifully moving moment. Afterward, Mary brought Robert Jr. to rehab.

Finally, a vulnerable Mary confided in her friend, Angie, and explained how she felt that she failed her son. Their conversation, and how Angie supported Mary, also resonated with RHOSLC viewers.

Meredith Marks – Loser

Meredith had quite a season. She celebrated her bat mitzvah, which was beautiful. Unfortunately, Angie argued with friend of the cast Britani Bateman, and slammed her “high body count hair.” So, Meredith had security escort Angie out of the celebration.

During the season, Meredith had a meltdown when she realized that Britani was recording the ladies arguing in a Sprinter van in Mexico. Of course, Britani tried to deny that she was taping anyone. Instead, she claimed that she was trying to make a video. But that didn’t stop all the ladies from screaming.

However, after Britani claimed that she heard Meredith crying and vomiting during the night in Mexico, Meredith was suspicious. She asked Heather to help her check her room for bugs. I highly doubt that Britani would plant a bug in Meredith’s room. But here we are.

Meredith also had a falling out with Mary, who had been a dear friend. I’m not sure exactly where this friendship went left, but Meredith and her bangs were booted from Mary’s house.

I almost listed Meredith in the winning category until her behavior during the RHOSLC reunion. Meredith demanded that Andy Cohen have the control room playback tape from last season when Monica told Angie that Meredith started the rumor about Angie’s husband, Shawn, having sex with men. “Unless I hear that, and I’m being told it will play at the reunion, I am FINISHED,” Meredith told Andy. This tantrum was over the top and landed Meredith in the losing column.

Angie Katsanevas – Winner

Angie Katsanevas RHOSLC

Angie was activated this season. She stayed friendly with Whitney, which aggravated Lisa. In the end, Angie was tired of Lisa acting like the leader of the friend group, having to always be in control.

However, the tension between Angie and Lisa went into overdrive during the Season 5 finale. During the final night in Puerto Villarta, Whitney shared the rumor that she heard about Lisa and John having a threesome. An enraged Lisa denied it and went after Angie for not defending her.

So, Lisa brought back to life the rumor about Angie’s husband allegedly having male boyfriends, claiming that she heard that he participated in “circle jerks.” Angie jumped up and started throwing flowers at Lisa until security stopped her. It doesn’t seem likely that these former friends will rekindle their friendship.

Besides all the feuding, Angie also showed her moving and authentic friendship with Mary. They understand each other and connect in a refreshing and caring way. Season 5 was a winner for Angie, and she scored the seat next to Andy. What a step up from being a “bench-warming b*tch” last season.

Bronwyn Newport – Winner

Bronwyn Newport RHOSLC

Bronwyn was an exciting addition to the season. She shared her experience of becoming pregnant at 18 years old while a student at Brigham Young University. The baby’s father’s family reportedly wanted Bronwyn to give up her baby for adoption. She refused, and raised her daughter, Gwen, as a single mother. Sadly, Gwen’s birth father passed away. However, this tale has a bizarre connection to Lisa.

Apparently, Bronwyn showed Lisa a photo of Gwen’s father off-camera, and Lisa is friends with his parents. Bronwyn never revealed their names and was upset that Lisa gave out too many details about them on camera. Gwen has never met her grandparents, and they allegedly showed no interest in meeting her until Bronwyn and Lisa’s conversation.

Plus, Lisa and Bronwyn also sparred over Lisa Face-Timing with Heather during Bronwyn and Todd’s Palm Springs anniversary trip. After all, Bronwyn didn’t invite Heather and took it as an insult that Lisa reached out to her. The newbie also sparred with nearly every cast member. She has a blunt and brash style, which sometimes upset her husband, Todd.

Plus, Bronwyn’s passion for fashion gave Mary a run for her money. I also applaud Bronwyn’s habit of showing up at the airport to pick up Todd in costumes, like a hot dog, or a shark. Say what you will about Bronwyn, but this fan favorite deserves a second season as a snowflake-holder.

Heather Gay – Loser

Heather Gay RHOSLC

Heather had a season-long feud with Bronwyn. Simply put, Heather didn’t trust her. Once she saw Bronwyn making fun of Whitney behind her back, but being nice to her face, Heather felt that Bronwyn was a hypocrite.

When it was time for Bronwyn and Todd’s couples’ trip, Bronwyn invited Heather over for a visit. As soon as Heather realized that she was there to grovel for a place on the trip, the visit went left. Heather refused to apologize and swiftly departed. Plus, Heather’s growing friendship with Lisa also caused her to question Bronwyn’s intentions.

During the final dinner in Puerto Vallarta, Heather suggested that each person find the worst text that they had written about someone at the table. Then they would have the person read it out loud, and “burn” it. While it seemed to work for some of the cast, Lisa and Meredith stormed out. Thanks for another fun game, Heather!

I feel like Heather wasn’t as present this season. During the Season 4 finale, she had that huge moment when she outed Monica. She seemed to hang back more this season and comment on the drama. I’m looking forward to Heather being more involved next season.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City may have finished its reunion, but not without one more announcement from friend Britani Bateman. Britani made a controversial debut on the show in more ways than one. In the beginning, she feuded with Mary Cosby after insinuating she grew up poor. Then, Angie Katsanevas called her out for having “high body count hair.” Finally, who could forget the infamous recording scandal on the Sprinter van?

Britani came into the RHOSLC reunion with her head held high. Oh, and she was wearing a backup dress because she showed up in the same look as Angie. During the reunion, Britani explained what it felt like to be authentic on the show while also obeying the rules of the Mormon church. It ended in a rowdy back-and-forth with Angie with some memorable one-liners.

Angie K isn’t convinced

Heather Gay tried to have Britani’s back by understanding her “double life” in the Mormon church. “She’s an active Mormon, and to be an active Mormon and not get kicked out of the church, you can’t have sex, you can’t drink, and you’re doing both,” Heather explained. Britani tried to correct her that it was up to the Bishop. However, when Angie was asked to chime in, she questioned Britani’s dedication to her faith in general.

Angie claimed that Britani wasn’t a true Mormon despite growing up in Provo, Utah. “You’re not a true Mormon,” Angie said. “I grew up with Mormons the way Heather was raised.” Fighting words.

Britani tried to fire back that it’s a personal decision how she lives her life, but Angie kept the insults coming. “I embrace my religion every day — not on Sundays — seven f*cking days a week,” Angie declared. Well, it looks like Britani couldn’t even leave the RHOSLC reunion without a few final battles.

Welcome to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 Reunion, Part 3 recap. Last week, Todd shed light on the “emotional affair” Bronwyn shared with the other women in Puerto Vallarta. Andy asked Meredith about the state of her and Seth’s marriage since he works in Ohio now. Mary updated us on how Robert Jr. was doing after rehab and how Angie’s friendship and support helped her. Keep reading to see exactly what happened on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 Reunion, Part 3.

What happened on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 Reunion, Part 3?

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City  title card

In this week’s episode, the reunion concludes with Britani joining the group to discuss her relationship with Jared Osmond and confront Bronwyn. Meredith accuses Britani of spreading misinformation about her night in Mexico. Lisa and Whitney struggle to find a path forward after the rumor Whitney shared in Mexico about Lisa’s marriage. Here are some highlights from the RHOSLC Season 5 Reunion, Part 3.

Britani opens up about Jared Osmond and their relationship

Before bringing Britani on stage, Andy advises everyone to “hide your wine bottles and make sure all recording devices are turned off.”

“What is the latest between you and Jared?” Andy asks her.

“We’ve been broken up since June,” Britani responds. As she’s speaking, there’s a banner across the bottom of the screen that says, “Editor’s Note: Since the reunion, they’ve gone Instagram official … again.”

Apparently, Jared is unable to stop himself from texting single girls, even though he promised Britani several times he would. Hence, the vicious breakup/love bomb/get back together cycle.

Andy reminds Britani that Bronwyn said she was “more in love with the Osmond name than with Jared.”

“It probably wasn’t super cool of me to insinuate that,” Bronwyn says, “But my feeling was he wouldn’t claim you publicly, he was treating you poorly, and he’s [just] categorically the worst.”

“He’s said horrific things about you on Twitter,” Bronwyn adds. “He’s come for everybody on this show.”

Following an earlier debate on whether Jared has a “micro penis,” Bronwyn concludes by reading a text Jared sent her. “This is the way the man you’re in love with talks to women.”

“What the f*cking hell is your f*cking problem?” Jared writes to Bronwyn. “Are you f*cking kidding me coming out on national television making fun of my anatomy? You little bitch … I guarantee I am twice the size of any man you’ve ever been with.” Just, ew. The Osmond family must be so proud.

Angie claims Britani’s “not a true Mormon” on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion

When Angie arrived at Britani’s house for Mormon Prayer Night with a bottle of wine, Britani wasn’t quite sure how to handle the situation. Honestly, how long has Angie lived in Salt Lake City? Can she really not know that Mormons aren’t supposed to drink?

A viewer wrote, “Heather, you said on the After Show it’s not Angie’s responsibility to keep up Britani’s façade of being the perfect Mormon.”

When Andy asks Heather to elaborate, she says, “Britani’s living a double life. She’s an active Mormon. To be an active Mormon and not get kicked out of the church, you can’t have sex [outside of marriage] and you can’t drink. And [she’s] doing both.”

But Britani argues, “That’s not true. It depends on the bishop.”

“That’s nonsense,” Bronwyn throws out. “I also grew up Mormon … I agree with Heather. If you want to look like you’re in good standing with the church … you should not be drinking and having pre-marital sex.”

Of course, Lisa comes out on Britani’s side. Lisa’s a “Mormon” who owns a tequila company. But Angie says she grew up with Mormons, and Britani’s “not a true Mormon.”

“I can live my religion any way I want,” Britani argues.

Andy continues, “Britani, you eventually came clean about sleeping with Jared. How did it feel to have the other women rally around you?”

“It felt really good,” she says, admitting that she cried when she saw it on TV. “I didn’t even realize how much trauma I had around the shame … I lied to everyone.”

Why was Britani recording the women in the sprinter van?

Turning to the Puerto Vallarta trip, Andy asks Britani, “If you were so concerned that Meredith was crying and throwing up, why didn’t you talk to her about it, instead of telling everyone in the group?”

“She did,” Meredith says. “I told her that it wasn’t true, and she proceeded to tell everyone that it was.”

“I’m sorry,” Britani says. “The sound of someone throwing up is indistinguishable.” That’s a very big word there, missy, and I don’t think you’re using it correctly.

“I literally woke up from a dead sleep,” Britani continues, “to sounds of someone throwing up.” She could have been violently coughing. Meredith admitted she had a coughing fit that night, and that could be indistinguishable from the sound of vomiting.

“Britani, you’re a liar,” Meredith tells her. “I am not going to let you spread lies about me. I’ve had enough … I don’t care to discuss it any further. You’re a liar.”

Moving on, Andy says, “Britani, you gave several different explanations as to why you were recording the women in the sprinter … Who here believes any of those excuses?”

After everyone has a different theory about why she would record them, Andy says, “The obvious reason that you all freaked out is because of what you have been through.”

“It was abusive, and I’m still recovering from that,” Britani says.

“Okay, well get over it, babe,” Mary throws in. “It happened and it’s done. Hopefully, you are, too.” Just what I was thinking!

Mary admits she doesn’t like Britani. “I just don’t think you’re honest,” she says. “And you don’t take accountability … Your emotional intelligence is not mature. You’re a little bit lop-sided for me, and I have enough going on in my life.”

Lisa and Whitney make one last attempt to “burn it” on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

Andy brings up Heather asking everyone to “read the meanest text in their phone” to move forward. That was a terrible idea. “What was your goal for the exercise?”

“We give these words power,” Heather says. “I just wanted to burn it.”

“Lisa, Whitney brought up a rumor,” Andy went on, “about you and John bringing a third party into your bedroom. Where do you go from here?”

“Are we gonna burn it or not?” Whitney asks, as Lisa again denies the rumor. She’s missing the point.

“Lisa, listen to me,” Whitney says. “I burned the most horrific thing … but it was cathartic … When we were able to look in each other’s eyes and burn it, it started filling in those trenches. You could not burn the fact that I’m sorry that I talked about your marriage. Why can’t you burn it?”

“Because you keep doing it,” both Meredith and Lisa say at the same time.

While everyone urges her to just let it go, Lisa argues, “I will do what I want to do … You guys have f*cked me over so many times, that it’s hard to be vulnerable … [But] when people f*ck with John, Jack, and Henry, you burn something that you can never get back … I show you grace all the time. I’m not fake.” That’s debatable.

Whitney goes and sits by Lisa to focus their conversation. “Saying you’re sorry means you’ll never do it again,” Lisa says. No, it doesn’t. People make the same mistakes over and over again.

Andy wants to move on, but Whitney says, “I just don’t think it’s fair that I take accountability, but she doesn’t have to.”

Finally, Lisa admits, “As f*cked up as our friendship is, I do love you.” Finally, it’s done.

“The finale ended with everyone saying the worst thing they’ve texted about someone in the group,” Andy says. He wants them to end by saying something nice.

Starting with Mary, Andy says, “What’s something nice that you want to [say] about Heather?”

“Heather is powerful, smart, and she has a lot of love,” Mary responds.

Andy asks Lisa to say something about Whitney. She says, “When she’s committed to being a friend, she’s a great one.”

When Andy asks Meredith to say something about Angie, she says, “You’re a great mother … I haven’t seen it, but based on your relationship with Mary, I think you can be a good friend.”

Angie admits, “I actually secretly like [Meredith],” which makes everyone laugh.

Bronwyn says, “I’ve always said I wanted to be friends with [Heather]. You’re very intelligent and you keep me on my toes.”

Heather responds, “You understand that being a single mom is not easy … I think you’re a fabulous contribution to the group.”

Andy asks Whitney to “return the favor to Lisa Barlow.”

“When you show up as a friend,” Whitney says. “you can be a really good friend.”

Mary begs Andy to “do me,” rather than leave it to Meredith.

“You showed us your heart this year,” Andy says. “You showed us how open, understanding, and compassionate you are … You’re also funny as hell.”

“We should have played this game in Puerto Vallarta,” Meredith says.

Finally, Andy suggests a toast.

Meanwhile, backstage, Britani has a serious case of FOMO. “I want some nice stuff said about me, too!” she whispers. “It’s not fair!”

Everyone loves a good old-fashioned games night. Grab the Game of Life, popcorn, and buckle up for a walk down memory lane. These games are not so secretly designed to bring out the shade between the women. Here are the four Real Housewives I would avoid as the game master.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City: Heather Gay is a serious player

@hayusocial

real housewives games just hit different #RHOSLC #RHOM

♬ original sound – Hayu – Hayu

Heather Gay’s Mexico game was perhaps the shadiest tournament in Real Housewives history. Tensions were already at an all-time high, and fans knew a big blowout fight was right around the corner. But the drama persisted, and so did Heather as she asked each woman to find the worst text message they had written about somebody else. Even though the Bad Mormon presumably had bad intentions, the game soon went South. Blood started to boil as the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast started to read their burn book messages out loud.

Whitney Rose dug deep for her message, which Lisa Barlow was forced to read aloud. The text insinuated that Lisa and John Barlow had participated in a threesome. Whitney then explained that she heard Lisa hooked up with another woman while her husband watched. In a fit of rage, Lisa then tried deflecting by throwing Angie Katsanevas under the bus. The Vida Tequila owner insinuated that Shawn Trujillo took part in circle jerks. Lisa became so angry she and Meredith Marks soon stormed off set.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills IQ test

The game night from Season 2 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is iconic. And not just because Brandi Glanville was hobbling for her life while on crutches. The night started strong with Kim nicknaming the host, Dana Wilkey, “Pam.” Kim Richards and Kyle Richards were not minding their manners as they kept poking Brandi over and over again. After being placed on the same team, the two sisters decided to keep ganging up on the newbie, which didn’t sit well with viewers.

The former model finally snapped, telling Kim, “At least I don’t do crystal meth in the bathroom all night long. B*tch.” Naturally, this triggered both sisters, and all hell broke loose. The Escape from Witch Mountain star was not interested in having a civil evening and clapped back at Brandi. “You’re a sl*t pig.” While it was nice to see Kim and Kyle on the same side for once, it was hard to see Brandi with no one in her corner.

Lisa Rinna never forgets

It seems money can’t even buy you a proper game night planner (poor Cal) in the 90210. Lisa Rinna made her feelings known early on, noting, “I f*cking hate game night.” Charades started and the ladies seemed to be having a good time. However, Lisa’s chatty ways finally came back around to haunt her. With a flair for the dramatics, the soap opera actress told Eden Sassoon that she felt Kim was close to death and that Kyle was an enabler. Naturally, this sentiment went down like a lead balloon.

The topic of Amsterdam 2015 popped back up with Kim claiming, “I’ve never said anything about your husband.” Production immediately flashed back to the dinner from hell to remind everyone she, in fact, had. Lisa snapped, “Yes, you did. How dare you? Are you kidding me? Let’s talk about your arrest.”

It’s a matter of trust for the Real Housewives of Miami

Leave it to Marysol Patton to bring up a game of Who Do You Trust the Least? The Miami firecracker might wear the crown for the most ruthless game to take place in the 305. While on a cast trip to the Hamptons, the ladies fought over who should sleep in what room. The premise has been seen before, and no one thought much of it then. I recall that Adriana de Moura stripped naked in a bathtub to claim the master bedroom. At the same time, Lisa Hochstein refuses to share a room with anyone.

As the room battle went down, Marysol decided to plot a bit of payback on Nicole Martin. She didn’t appreciate how the good doctor talked back to Alexia Nepola. The attack game goes down during a relatively calm dinner. It was then Marysol suggested that the group members take turns sharing who they trust the least. Lisa and Kiki Barth refuse to answer and offer to say who they trust the most. But that is no fun. Marysol then decided to take the game into her own hands. She points out that she doesn’t appreciate Nicole talking behind their backs, claiming the doctor had once called Larsa Pippen a “hooker.” The former WAG claps back, calling Nicole a gold digger, and the dinner ends with a few empty stomachs.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is available to stream on Peacock.

Welcome to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 Reunion, Part 2 recap. Last week, a fan accused Heather of prioritizing her friendship with Lisa over her friendship with Angie. Bronwyn realized Lisa was not the friend she thought she was before coming on the show. It’s like pulling teeth, but she finally got an apology out of Lisa for talking about Gwen on the RHOSLC After Show. Finally, when the ladies were joined by the “huuuzbands,” John told Todd to “watch your tone.” Keep reading to see exactly what happened on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 Reunion, Part 2.

What happened on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 Reunion, Part 2?

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City  title card

In this week’s episode, Todd sheds light on the “emotional affair” Bronwyn shared with the other women in Puerto Vallarta. Andy asks Meredith about the state of her and Seth’s marriage since he works in Ohio now. Mary updates us on how Robert Jr. is doing after rehab and how Angie’s friendship and support helped her. Here are some highlights from the RHOSLC Season 5 Reunion, Part 2.

Todd addresses the “emotional affair” with another woman

Andy asks Todd how he felt when he saw Bronwyn share with the other women the story of his “emotional affair.”

“Well, I have to apologize, cause I haven’t seen it,” he says. Wait, what? Aren’t you contracted to watch the show so you can fight over everything everybody says?

“We talked about it,” Bronwyn explains. “It’s just hard to watch.”

“Anything that Bronwyn shared,” Todd adds, “would be more than I’d want her to share.”

“I wouldn’t even say it was an emotional affair,” Bronwyn says. “I felt there [were] conversations that went further than I would have had with someone.”

Heather calls her out that she was upset and wiping away tears on the boat, to the point where Heather defended her. “I rallied hard for you,” she says. “So he didn’t do it? Or he did do it?”

Todd looks uncomfortable as they go into commercial.

“I think the conversation with this woman went too far,” Bronwyn says. “I do. But I want to be very clear about this. When I said this on the boat, it was not happening in real time.”

Bronwyn explains, “I have an issue where I [sometimes] don’t feel ‘good enough’… When I felt that everything I said in this group was being misconstrued or misunderstood … it does trigger this narrative that I’m not good enough.”

Following the incident with the other woman, Todd gave Bronwyn a fifth-anniversary gift of a ring with five diamonds. There were five promises that went along with the five diamonds. Todd says they were “support, love, fidelity, take care of Gwen … and transparency.”

Meredith says her marriage is “beautiful” after some “bumps in the road” on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion

Meredith and Seth Marks RHOSLC

Andy asked Meredith about the state of her marriage since Seth spends so much time working away from home in Ohio.

“Contrary to what Angie and Whitney and Heather … said, Seth and I are monogamous,” Meredith says. “We do not cheat on each other. We have a beautiful marriage that sometimes has bumps in the road, just like any marriage … Anyone who’s been married for decades and says it’s always a ‘walk in the park and perfect’ is a liar.”

For his part, Seth says, “It helps that we’re not together physically that often, Andy. I highly recommend commuting, so it feels like a first date on the weekends. I see her every weekend, sometimes more than that.”

“People online,” Todd interjects, “accuse Bronwyn and I of the same thing. Some idiot from some ‘gossipy rag’ wrote the other day that I live in another state. Like Seth and Meredith, we do the same thing. I work here in New York quite a bit. We’ve had multiple homes. Bronwyn used to work in San Francisco. I agree with what Seth said. I totally understand that situation.”

“[We got] a lot of questions on Twitter wondering if you have a side chick in Ohio,” Andy adds. Ouch. Lisa actually gasps.

“No,” Seth flatly responds. “This is my side chick, Andy,” pointing to his hand. One of my long-ago exes used to call that his “other girlfriend, Rosy Palm.”

Mary shares why she and Robert decided to film the confession about his addiction struggle

After the “huuzzbands” are excused, Andy jumps right back in. “Last year you could barely pry Mary Cosby out of the sprinter van,” he says. “This season she ziplined out of her comfort zone and into a deep friendship with Angie, a surprising love of beer, and a mind-bending connection to Jeffrey Dahmer.”

“But it was Mary’s openness about her struggles with her son, Robert Jr., that kept us all in tears,” Andy concludes. The clip replaying Robert’s addiction struggles was heartbreaking, but the thing that brings tears to my eyes is seeing Angie holding Mary’s hand when we come back.

Mary admits that she and Robert talked about telling his story on-camera. “We didn’t plan what we were going to say,” she says, “but … we said, ‘If we can just help one person, then we’ll just tell our truth.’”

The love she received from viewers tells her that Robert’s story resonated with many people.

“What part of that conversation surprised you the most?” Andy asks. “He had ideations of suicide, you talked about very serious opiates and drugs that he was taking.”

“I didn’t expect him to say all of that,” Mary confesses. “I didn’t know that he was doing all that. The fact that I was unaware scared me … He lives in my house, [and] we’re so close. [I was] shocked.”

“We last saw you taking him to rehab,” Andy says. “Did he actively want to go to rehab, because they say it doesn’t really work unless you’re a participant?”

“He wanted to go,” Mary replies. “The way he opened up … that was a cry for help … He wanted to change.”

Mary gives an update on Robert Jr.’s progress and how Real Housewives of Salt Lake City co-star helped her get through it

Mary shared that he was in rehab for 30 days, and he’s different now that he’s home. “Once you go to rehab, you need to change your friends,” she adds. “He’s [more of a] homebody now … He goes to those AA [meetings], and he has friends he’s met from there.”

Andy says he was most affected by hearing Robert say he felt like “a stain.” Andy’s a dad now, so you can hear the emotion in his voice as he’s probably thinking of his own kids.

“You don’t want to hear your child say that,” Mary sobs, as Andy wipes away a tear. “He’s not. He’s everything.”

Looking at Mary’s situation differently, Andy asks, “Angie, what did it mean to you that Mary opened up to you during this whole process?”

“I felt honored that she shared this with me,” Angie responds. “What the world saw that day … is the Mary that guided me and talked to me about my mom and motherhood .”

“Was there anything that you went through with your mom’s addiction that made you able to connect with her in a different way?” Andy follows up.

“In my situation, I was too little,” Angie says. She was only eight when her mom died. “I used to think if I was old enough, I could have been part of helping my mom.”

Mary told Angie something she’d been waiting 43 years to hear. “I know if your mom could do it all over again,” Mary told her, “she would [go to rehab], too.” No one had ever said that to Angie before.

Where was former BFF Meredith while Mary was going through all of this?

Turning to Whitney, Andy says, “You’ve known Mary a long time, and you’ve had a rocky relationship.” In my mind, I can hear Mary chastising Whitney: “Little Girl.”

When Andy notices that Whitney’s very emotional, she explains that she’s been “trying not to make eye contact with anyone” because she would start crying.

“I watched [Mary’s conversation with her son] with my kids,” Whitney says. “I haven’t talked to my dad since Season 1 [because of his addictions]. It’s hard to explain to my kids, and for them to listen to Robert, they now understand why they don’t have a grandpa.”

Andy comments that despite her personal life, Mary seems “lighter” and just more willing to show up this season. “Why is that?”

Mary credited Angie’s friendship. “I found a friend that really wanted to be my friend,” she says. “Having that support, made me clock in.”

When a shocked Meredith gives Mary the evil eye, Andy asks, “You and Meredith had a nice friendship. Did you not feel that from her?”

“Meredith and my friendship is very different,” Mary answers carefully. “Meredith is a beautiful person and a beautiful friend. I love Meredith. [But she’s] a busy woman … Meredith always called in and checked on me. She was a very good friend to me. It was just different.”

“I wish I’d been able to be there for you,” Meredith says. “It made me really sad that I wasn’t.”

But in the end, Meredith and Mary hug it out and say they love each other.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.

Welcome to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 Reunion, Part 1 recap. Last week, Heather organized a Tribute to Lisa lunch, which Lisa loved, until Whitney got a little too honest with her feelings about Lisa. On the last night of their trip, Lisa took them to a luxury theme park for “an epic dinner.” But Heather’s attempt to get the women to move forward and “clear the air” with each other exploded into a massive fight. Lisa had an epic meltdown, and both she and Meredith ended up running from the table. Keep reading to see exactly what went down on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 Reunion, Part 1.

Does Heather favor her friendship with Lisa over Angie?

Andy’s got a slick new haircut. Looking good, Mr. Cohen. Sitting in between Angie and Lisa, he acknowledges that they tend to get heated with each other. He asks if there’s a “safe word” he can use if/when they lose their sh*t, and he has to snap them out of it.

Lisa suggests “besos” (Spanish for kisses), while Angie volunteers “opa” (a Greek word of celebration).

Monique from Boulder writes, “Angie, Heather betrayed your trust when she told Lisa your video game comment. Why do you think Heather prioritizes her friendship with Lisa over her friendship with you?”

“I know Heather loves me,” Angie responds. “But that did make me question where I stood with her. Heather twisted my words, and I didn’t appreciate that.”

While Heather insists she never called Angie a “bad mom,” Lisa doubles down and yells, “It is a bad mom to say that … I babysit [Henry] with electronics.”

When everyone begins yelling at once, Andy frantically screams, “Besos! Besos! Opa!” You need a spray bottle, Andy. It works on my dog. All you have to do is hold it up, and they’ll stop.

“She needs a mute button,” Mary comments, which made me LOL. Please! Somebody put a mute button on Baby G.

Bronwyn calls Lisa out for being angry with Angie for “repeating a conversation.” Hello, Kettle! Lisa repeats conversations all the time.

“What is the standard here?” Bronwyn asks.

Bronwyn and Lisa are on a friendship time-out

Keeping her in the hot seat, Andy asks Bronwyn, “You recently said in an interview that you’re on a time-out [with Lisa]. When was the last time the two of you spoke?”

Bronwyn confesses it had been at least a month, confirmed by Lisa.

Tiffany from Michigan asks, “Bronwyn, was it disappointing for you to come on the show as Lisa’s friend, [only] to have her turn on you?” I would think so. Duh.

“I think I feel differently now than I did then,” Bronwyn responds. “At the time, I definitely felt like you were not being a friend to me. I kept thinking something went wrong between Lisa and [me]. You see me kind of chasing her the whole season, going ‘what went wrong?’”

“Now that I’ve watched it back and I’ve watched you with [everyone else],” she adds, “the things you’ve said in your confessionals, I don’t think anything went wrong. I was just unaware that we were not as close as I thought we were. I think I was Lisa’s social friend, and I kept expecting really good friendship from somebody who just sees me socially.”

Lisa’s not “really good friends” with anyone, Bronwyn. Lisa only loves Lisa and doesn’t understand loyalty to anyone else.

“I enjoy Bronwyn,” Lisa admits. “But it was definitely more of a social friendship. We didn’t tell each other our deepest, darkest secrets, but I’ve always thought highly of her.”

Heather didn’t give Bronwyn a chance

Moving on, Andy reads a fan’s X/Twitter comment: “Heather, you didn’t give Bronwyn a chance. Do you regret treating her the way you did after watching the season? Do you think you’ve been unfair to her?”

“Listen, I got a quick read on Bronwyn,” Heather says. “I thought I knew exactly how she felt about everyone. So when I heard that she gave a completely different feeling to Whitney, it surprised me.”

“Yes, I was hard on Whitney,” Bronwyn responds. “But then Whitney and I had a conversation, and I said to Whitney, ‘I didn’t leave [Lisa’s Besos party] with a good impression after you stormed out.’”

“Looking back,” Whitney says, “you always say, ‘No one was there for me.’ I feel like I was always there for you, and I was so supportive. I feel like you won’t claim me publicly as a friend.”

“That is something I see as I watch back,” Bronwyn admits. “I very much was in a place when we were filming this, where I thought Lisa and I were better friends and something had gone wrong. I was trying to unravel what had gone wrong. More often than not, I placed Lisa on a higher pedestal than the others.”

She finally realizes there were other friendships she could have developed, rather than always trying to fix things with Lisa.

Heather rebuffed Bronwyn’s attempt to mend things

Erin from Pennsylvania writes, “Heather, you seemed offended that Bronwyn wanted to mend things before Palm Springs. Can you blame her for not wanting to invite people she’s not in good standing with?”

“It was a move,” Heather says. “It was a couples’ trip, and I was never invited. I was never gonna go on that trip. And it was very clear from the minute that I walked into that house that I was there to ‘sing for my supper.’ It felt hurtful. Like, why would you want to create fractures in friendships that are newly fragile?”

“Did anybody else watching think I was [trying] to embarrass Heather?” Bronwyn asks. “Or that I was trying to fix it with her?”

“It doesn’t matter what you projected,” Heather says, clearly still resentful. “It matters what happened.”

For what it’s worth, I really thought Bronwyn wanted to fix things with Heather, but Heather came in with a chip on her shoulder.

Andy asks Heather’s BFF Whitney what she thought watching their conversation. “I know Heather so well,” she answers, “so I could see where Heather’s perspective was coming from. The walls went up right away. But I also did see Bronwyn trying, so I think it was just a really sad miss. But I understand both perspectives.”

Whitney’s Switzerland, y’all.

Lisa just can’t bring herself to apologize to Bronwyn

“Bronwyn, you just discovered Lisa knows Gwen’s paternal grandparents,” Tamra from Teaneck writes. “Did you intend on sharing that story on the show?’”

“No,” Bronwyn says. “I was confiding in [Lisa] … and [Lisa’s] responses felt like you were defending them.”

On the RHOSLC After Show, Lisa said the family believed there was a miscarriage and there was no child.

“My dad called [the family after Gwen was born],” Bronwyn says. They never called back. “I have never told a single person who [her father] is … You knew [how damaging] … [implying] that I faked a miscarriage … would be to me [and] how hurtful it would be to my daughter.”

Lisa breaks down in tears, like she always does when she’s cornered. “I’m in a lose-lose situation here,” she cries.

“Just say sorry, cause there’s no way out of this,” Heather advises.

“F*ck her!” Lisa tells Heather. “You want to make me this horrible human being that I’m not.”

Lisa should at least acknowledge that she hurt Gwen and apologize for it. How would Lisa feel if that were Henry?

Meredith tries to help her by saying, “Do you feel badly that Bronwyn and Gwen were hurt by what you said?” It’s really sad that she has to spell that out for her.

“I would never want to hurt Bronwyn or Gwen,” Baby Selfish finally says. But she still has sympathy for the grandparents, whereas Bronwyn only knows that her daughter has been ignored by them for 18 years.

“She’s not remorseful,” Bronwyn says in frustration. “She just keeps defending it.”

“I am so sorry that I f*cked up … and it affected you,” Lisa grudgingly admits. “I am so sorry.”

She can’t resist adding, “But I feel bad for them, too.”

Todd and Bronwyn have a closer relationship due to the show

After the break, the ladies are joined by the “huuuzbands.” Except Heather, who doesn’t have one, and Mary, whose spouse wants no part of this show.

“Todd is obviously very blunt,” Chris from Knoxville asks Bronwyn. “Were you concerned about him being on the show?”

“I let Todd be who he wants to be,” Bronwyn answers. “Todd and I have had some really important conversations as we’ve watched [the show].”

She thinks it’s made them stronger, but she still wants to change in the way she speaks to Todd.

“I feel the same way,” Todd agrees. “One of the interesting things is the number of people [that] didn’t even know my name and asserted things about me.” Heather clearly felt that shade.

“People have opinions,” Todd adds, “and apparently, they feel free to share them. Doesn’t mean they’re true.”

Bronwyn admits that her sarcastic sense of humor sometimes seems to disparage her husband.

“Todd didn’t deserve that,” she concludes.

“I can be gruff,” Todd admits. But he’s working on that with his wife.

“There were a couple of things that were off-limits,” he adds. “Bronwyn’s daughter Gwendolyn … Bringing up issues that were very personal and very sensitive to her was completely unacceptable … almost to the point of being libelous.”

When Lisa and John start to get defensive, Todd says, “Let me be clear about something. You asserting Bronwyn had a miscarriage…”

“Watch your tone,” John threatens.

“I’m not watching my tone,” Todd responds. “Watch your tone.”

Todd’s going straight home to pour out his Vida Tequila.

The Traitors Season 3 is a fun watch, but it isn’t delivering the excitement like it should be. Thanks to the murders of Dorinda Medley and Chanel Ayan early on in the game, the Bravo team’s numbers are widdling down. But I am a glass-half-full kind of writer, and I can’t help but think of what my dream all-Bravo cast might look like. With a mix of the right Real Housewives and a few heavy hitters from some other popular shows, there could be a perfect team out there.

The entire RHOSLC Season 5 cast

Picture it: Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, Angie Katsanevas, and Bronwyn Newport are all on the next season of The Traitors. I can hear Mary’s voice now echoing throughout the Scottish castle, yelling, “You bobblehead!” She’s probably gotten into an altercation about her kilt pattern. Heather would be a perfect Faithful as she gathers up the “receipts, proof, and timeline” to out a traitor during a round table.

I’d love to see Lisa on the Peacock series sooner rather than later. She’d be a hell of a Traitor since she has an innate ability to control the narrative. She could also put her social skills to the test as she is never afraid to speak her mind. Not to mention I wouldn’t mind watching Alan Cumming try to put together a “seven Lisa’s lunch” competition.

The OG cast of Vanderpump Rules

I’d raise my glass high to this cast lineup. Imagine seeing all seven original cast members of Vanderpump Rules walking through the castle doors. I wouldn’t know where to look between Katie Maloney, Stassi Schroeder, Scheana Shay, Jax Taylor, Kristen Doute, Tom Sandoval, and Tom Schwartz. Jax would have to be a Faithful because he is such an obvious Traitor. He’d do terribly and inevitably piss off the rest of the faithfuls with his egocentric sentiments. I could also see the bartender freaking out because he wasn’t made a Traitor. That would make for one exciting episode.

Stassi would be the perfect Traitor, thanks to her cunning personality. She also loves Halloween, so I imagine murdering would be extra theatrical for her. The mother of two is sly and knows how to play people off one another. I also think the ruse of the Witches of WeHo would be a good cover story for her, as the three former besties would probably reunite and band together.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 3 cast

I still love the Real Housewives of Atlanta. The women have always been extremely real and shared their own hot takes. But the Season 3 cast did a number on fans when it came to the drama. Between NeNe Leakes, Shereé Whitfield, Kim Zolciak, Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, and Phaedra Parks loved to spill the tea and pull one another’s wigs. I know we have had Phaedra on Season 2, but they brought Kate Chastain back twice so they can do the same for the lawyer. Except this time, make her a Faithful.

And Iamgine Kim with her red solo cup filled with wine, trying to get through a physical challenge. She would complain consistently and probably make herself the perfect person the Traitors would use as a decoy. She would think she was playing the game swimmingly when in reality, she would just be a pawn for the Traitors. Not to mention, everyone keeps confusing Carolyn Wiger with Kim, so we might as well bring her in.

Bring in the Southern Charm heavy hitters

There was something I always loved about Camera Eubanks. Perhaps it was her ability to keep the men with Peter Pan syndrome in line, but she always spoke sense. She was the calmest of the bunch. And I can see that personality trait being extremely helpful as she tried to deduce who the Traitors were. Now add a sprinkle of Shep Rose, and we have the perfect combination. Shep, for all his bad traits, is super intelligent. He could rub elbows with the reality stars and whichever royal Peacock decided to throw in the mix. Together, Cameran and Shep were very close friends, and I’d like to see their alliance play out on the small screen once more.

The Traitors is available to stream on Peacock.

Welcome to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, Episode 16 recap. Last week, the Mexico trip continued. But when Britani got caught recording a fight in the Sprinter van, Meredith became suspicious of her. After everyone attacked Britani for recording them, she admitted her “deepest secret,” which wasn’t all that deep. Meredith was convinced that Brit planted a recording device in her room and enlisted Heather’s help to find it. Keep reading to see exactly what went down on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, Episode 16: “When All is Said and Done.”

What happened on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, Episode 16?

In this week’s episode, Heather organizes a Tribute to Lisa lunch, which Lisa loves, until Whitney gets a little too honest with her feelings about Lisa. On the last night of their trip, Lisa takes them to a luxury theme park for “an epic dinner.” But Heather’s attempt to get the women to move forward and “clear the air” with each other explodes into a massive fight. Lisa has an epic meltdown, and both she and Meredith end up running from the table. Good riddance to both of them. Here are some of the highlights from RHOSLC Season 5, Episode 16.

A Tribute to Lisa luncheon doesn’t go well on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

Heather has planned a Tribute to Lisa lunch, so all the women meet in Lisa’s bungalow to surprise her. “Lisa put together such an amazing trip,” Heather interviews. “I really wanted to have a theme lunch to thank her. I know that Lisa hates themes, but I knew there would be one theme that Lisa would love.”

When Lisa walks into the cottage’s living room, she stops dead in her tracks. Everyone is wearing a brown wig and looks just like Lisa. It’s kind of hilarious. Meredith says she’s never seen Lisa speechless in the ten years she’s known her—until now.

“Honestly, these girls have never looked better,” Lisa says in a confessional.

I can’t stop laughing. Every time Lisa says anything, it’s followed by a chorus of, “I love that’s” in Lisa’s voice. So funny.

“I would rather die than be Lisa for the day,” Whitney says in a confessional. “But I’m just gonna lean into it and … be the fakest, phoniest, cattiest, materialistic bitch I can be.” Everyone knows Lisa and Whitney aren’t each other’s besties.

When Whitney pretty much repeats these sentiments to Lisa, Baby Gorgeous loses her cool and tries to snatch the wig off Whitney’s head. And now they’re all fighting again. These women just can’t go anywhere without screaming at each other.

“For our last night in Mexico,” Lisa interviews, “I organized the most epic dinner at the VidantaWorld Luxury Theme Park.”

When they get to the restaurant, everyone’s ordering Mexican dishes, except for Whitney who orders a pepperoni pizza. Really, Whit? Try a taco. They’re yummy.

Bronwyn proposes a toast and everyone cheers to their last night in Mexico, but I don’t think the happy atmosphere will last long. Right on schedule, Angie asks Mary if she’d like a piece of pepperoni pizza, but Mary ignores her. Crickets. Here we go …

“You’re being very quiet with me,” Angie finally says. Mary’s mad that Angie followed Britani out to comfort her at breakfast when she was crying. I’m constantly amazed that Mary calls herself a pastor when there seems to be very little compassion, love, or forgiveness in her.

Mary feels that Angie is disloyal to their friendship, but Angie tearfully tells her, “I love you. You’ve changed my life … I don’t like that you shut me out like this.”

Mary’s hurt that Angie took Britani’s side after she “told [Angie] everything.” She’s talking about when she had the heart-to-heart with Angie about Robert Jr.’s drug problem.

Mary says she has “abandonment issues” because both her parents turned their backs on her. She doesn’t handle betrayal well.

Angie apologizes for making Mary feel that way, and finally, Mary realizes, “Angie does have my back [and] feels like family.”

Heather’s attempt to “clear the air” goes south on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

After Mary and Angie settle their differences, Heather says it’s “beautiful.” She asks if anyone else wants to “clear the air.” Uh oh. I don’t think that’s a good idea, Heather.

Meredith speaks up, “I do have a concern, and I need some resolution.” She digs up the old story that Whitney accused Lisa of planting a story with a blog that her jewelry company was stealing designs from Alibaba (an online shopping website).

“You said you had proof,” Meredith continues. “And the person who supposedly gave you this proof contacted me and told me a very different story.”

“He told me that he has never given her proof,” Meredith says in a confessional. “[He also said] that Whitney has twisted his words around to say he had given her proof, when he, in fact, did not.”

Whitney doubles down and says she has a “lot of proof” that Lisa talks to blogs when Lisa says she does not.

“You’re lying!” Lisa says, giving her standard response.

Whitney says Lisa was “feeding information” to Reality Von Teese. Heather asks, “Who told you this?”

“I reached out to Monica [Garcia],” Whitney responds. Everyone is shocked into silence for a second. Even I gasped.

“After everything we’ve gone through to distance ourselves from [Monica] and her memory,” Heather interviews, “there’s no f*cking way you did this. What level of desperation and paranoia led you to think that … would somehow strengthen your case?”

When the argument escalates, Heather says, “Look at us! We are obsessed with trying to find the receipts … the proof, trying to poke holes in each other’s stories, expose each other … It’s not okay.”

“We made fun of [Monica’s] Burn Book, and we all have our own burn books [in our phones],” Heather says. “None of us are without fault.”

She suggests an exercise to move forward. She wants each of them find the worst thing they’ve ever said about someone in the group, and let that person read it out loud.

“We burn it, and move on,” she adds.

“Check, please!” Angie jokes. I’m with Angie here.

The first couple of confessions went well and peace was made. But then it’s Angie’s turn. She wrote that Bronwyn married “a man with one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel.” She also made fun of Bronwyn’s looks and says she “sucked her way to the top.” Angie wants everyone to think she’s a nice person, but she’s not. That was nasty.

Bronwyn has said that even though her husband can come off as being a little brusque, all is good with them and they’re totally happy.

Angie explains she wrote that message in a moment of anger, but she’s sorry. Bronwyn brushes her off and says it’s okay, but you can see she’s hurt. Angie and Bronwyn will never be friends.

Heather’s idea to “clear the air” goes totally off the rails on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

At last, it’s Whitney’s turn. Of course, hers is about Lisa. Whitney claims she and Justin were approached by a woman at a party who offered to have a three-way with them, adding that Lisa and John would “vouch for her.” Lisa loses her mind.

“What the f*ck is that?” Lisa says angrily.

Whitney says she doesn’t believe it and just wants to “clear the air.” Whitney tries to apologize and says she wants to “burn it,” but Lisa starts yelling.

“I’m not starting fresh,” Lisa cries. “I’m done.”

When Angie says, “No one believes it, Lisa,” Lisa hits back at her and says, “I heard that Shawn [Angie’s husband] does circle jerks.” Oh, that was low. But it’s not the first time Lisa’s been abusive toward another cast member.

Angie stands up and starts throwing things at Lisa, bringing a producer rushing to intervene.

“There’s nothing okay about any of this!” Meredith finally screams. Everyone’s in tears, and Lisa’s furious. It’s a mess. Great idea, Heather.

Lisa’s repulsive,” Bronwyn interviews. “I like John as much as the next person, but John’s no better than any husband at this table. For her to … turn it around on Angie’s marriage? Everybody’s true colors are coming out … the people who can own their sh*t and the people who are surface, f*cking narcissists.” I knew I liked Bronwyn.

After Lisa and Meredith storm away from the table, Heather apologizes to everyone left. “This is the last way I wanted to end our trip,” she says. “I’m so sorry.”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
